This photo documentary highlights Laura Barraza, a single-mother of four children living in El Paso, Texas, on the border between the U.S. and Mexico. Barraza, through her own voice, tells her story, and the challenges, complexities, beauty, and vulnerabilities of navigating motherhood while trying to do school full-time to get her degree, all while working over 30 hours a week as an EPISD educator. Below, is the final video project, which includes the photos shown above as well as well as an audio story, all edited, recorded, and produced by me.
